If you build a collection of quality books, and have a clear process for borrowing, it could be a wonderful way to welcome the community into the parish sphere.
The books we read as children stay with us. If the parish children’s library is full of books about the possibilities of faith, the potential of humanity’s striving for peace and justice, about beauty and poetry, these values will influence children for years to come.
