Two new BIBLE360 modules have been trialled in Anglican parishes in June.
Above you can see Dr Anthony Rees in full swing leading a crowd of participants from a number of parishes though BIBLE360: Introduction to the Prophets. St David's at Chelmer Graceville was the venue and the Rev Michael Stalley organised us for the day. We learned about the biblical prophets, wondered about Jesus as a prophet and pondered how the role of the prophet might be an integral part of Christian faith. The module will be tweaked to make it even better but the group gave it high evaluations so far!
The Revs Jonathan Inkpin and Penelope Jones worked with a crew at St Luke's in Toowoomba. This Introduction to Anglican Spirituality was both in-depth and highly practical, drawing on the many strands of Anglicanism to show how each has contributed to the richness of thought and practice in our Church. It was terrific!
Work continues on both but we will be ready to take bookings to work with parishes very soon.
