Following on from the highly successful BIBLE360: Introduction to the Bible seminar, Introduction to the Prophets will look more closely at:

• What prophets are and are not
• The role of prophets in scripture
• Jesus as a prophet
• Where that leaves 21st century Anglicans like you and me

Our facilitator for the day will be Dr Anthony Rees, expert in Old Testament.

Anthony is presently a research fellow with the Centre for Public and Contextual Theology at Charles Sturt University. He has taught within the CSU School of Theology, both at UTC, and at St Francis College in Brisbane, where he is currently situated. In 2013, he was lecturer in Old Testament/Biblical Studies at Pacific Theological College in Suva, Fiji.

• Bring a bible and a pen and that's all you need for a day of laughter and learning.

• Morning tea will will be provided but please bring your own lunch.

This day is a trial of the program, so your feedback will be collected along the way.  You'll be shaping the final version to be used throughout the diocese and the Anglican Communion!
