Communal prayer is what makes Anglicans tick, and there are many wonderful ways to encourage prayer in your group. We share the Eucharist, with its deeply scriptural inspiration, many people go to prayer groups, and we all pray in our own way on our own. Kristen Johnson Ingram discovered that we can pray without words when she was photographing a Native American dance. She was asked to stop filming, as “This is a prayer the dancer is doing.”
This little book offers ideas for engaging prayerfully in activities from walking, dancing, and washing up and gardening! It’s a delight just to read, as immediately you can see the glimmer of possibility in every ordinary movement!
