Since the Eucharist is so central to what we do as Christians, it stands to reason that people in our pews should have a good understanding of what is going on as they participate, right?
This 24 page booklet aims to enable that good understanding.
Developed by a Brisbane diocesan team including clergy and other liturgical experts, The Eucharist Explained features explanatory notes for each section, prayer and element of the standard APBA eucharist. The booklet was created to be a part of the FAISS (Formative Anglican Induction for School Staff) program and has been received by thousands of teachers, admin and support staff in our schools over nine years of use.
A few parishes have discovered it and use it for everything from Baptism and Confirmation preparation to cell group study and general parish use.
Like some for your parish? The booklet is available for a small donation of $5 per copy (cheaper for orders of ten or more), and postage if that's needed. Contact Jonathan Sargeant for more information.
